The Graphtec GL1000 memory and GL1100 Hard Disc recorder
from Instrumentation Direct provide a neat solution to
high speed data logging and analysis requirements.
The basic unit is available in 4 configurations
GL1000-8, GL1000-16, GL1100-8 and
GL1100-16
The “-8” version allow 4 modules (8channels)
to be measured and the “-16” 8 modules(16
channels). Additionally, an integral folding display monitor
and a 100mm printer are available making the unit a truly
flexible high speed transient waveform capture system.
At the systems heart is the ability to sample the input
signals very quickly, in fact the high speed voltage amplifier
will provide a 25ns sample period per channel. All channels
are simultaneously sampled to provide accurate time history
data. Coupled with the 40GByte standard hard disc drive
this unit can therefore capture very quick data samples
for a very long time. (GL1100)
The inputs for the GL series are through 2 channel modular
plug-in units. Various options are available as follows:-

Standard Function |
All input modules are isolated can be mixed and matched
to provide a flexible measuring tool.
The standard configuration provides a USB interface for
easy PC connection, LAN interface for remote acquisition,
and a PCMCIA card slot (Type II) for local storage.
The bundled PC application software allows viewing of
waveforms in real-time through USB and LAN interfaces.
