SPARTAN is a compact, high-precision
and affordable measurement system
for the isolated measurement
of both quasi-static and dynamic
voltage, current, and temperature
signals. SPARTAN operates in
both centralized and decentralized
measurement environment. By means
of its CAN-Bus interface for
connecting imc CANSAS measurement
modules, it is even possible
to accurately capture precise
remote temperature signals from
the SPARTAN, without the need
for the expensive compensation
lines which thermocouples require.
SPARTAN
is available in five frame models,
from 16 - 128
measurement channels, and two
measurement amplifier models.
In all cases, isolated channels
enable interference free
measurement even in tricky
voltage fields. SPARTAN-T,
with its sampling rate of up
to 5 Hz per channel, is the
specialist for temperature
and quasi-static voltage measurements.
SPARTAN-U offers sampling rates
of up to 500 Hz per channel,
designed for measurements of
dynamic voltage.
Five Models for 16
- 128 Measurement Channels:
| Universal
signal connection |
• Interference-free
measurement thanks to isolated
signal inputs
• Incremental
inputs for measurement of frequency,
velocity etc.
• Digital I/O
for external triggering and control
• Synchronized
CAN-Bus interface (optional)
The full extent of SPARTAN’s
versatility is possible thanks
to the measurement amplifier
modules with 16 – 128
channels, and four direct
incremental counters. Frequency,
time, displacement, RPM,
velocity etc. can be measured
directly and processed synchronously
with other signals.
16 digital inputs and eight
digital outputs allow capture
and output of control- and
triggering signals. Plus,
the optional field bus interface
reads measured data from
the CAN-/LIN-Bus, synchronized
with signals from the analogue
and digital channels.Along
with capture of the raw data,
the system’s
digital signal processors
can subject channel data
to freely configurable, real
time processing operations.
In addition, all analog,
digital, field bus and computed
channels can be used for
open- and closed-lop control
tasks or for signal limit
monitoring.
