A variety of input modules
The EX Series supports a number of input module configurations.
These units provide either 2 or 4 channel configurations
depending on module type. The module consists of a stylish
metallic housing engineered to fit onto a UT-10 interface
unit. Up to 6 modules can be fitted to one single UT interface
unit. Each module has 4 captive fixings which mean that
connecting them to the system could not be easier. Depending
on the module type depends on the type of input connector,
this could be BNC, microdot or barrier strip. The EX series
also employs TEDS technology which means that all sensor
information can be read from the sensor itself dramatically
reducing setup times out in the field. Each module can
be set via the UT10 to sample at different rates therefore
optimising the data capture rate for that particular input
type.
The EX series has no mainframe, this unit therefore contributes
to saving space and cost. By connecting from 4 to 24 channels
in a single Measuring Group and up to 8 Measuring Groups
by i.LINK interface, users can flexibly build a system
of up to 192 channels.
