The highly successful range of 4mm tape based DAT recorder
were removed from the Sony portfolio a few years ago.
The recorder were supplied in 1 of 4 configurations as
shown above and were one of the most commonly seen recording
systems in the field.
When used in conjunction with the PCScan2 software package
the end result was a high speed front end with the advantage
of real time PC monitoring and ultimate data integrity
and security with the data on tape.
The PC200Ax series has now been superseded by the EX Series
RP Recorder packages which can be viewed in “EX
Series Modular Data Acquisition unit” or follow
the link above.
