Product Description
The Sony SIR-3032w is a 32 channel wideband expansion
unit for use with the SIR-3400H Hard Disc Recorder and
SIR-3100T AIT2 Tape Recorder. Up to four expansion units
can be added to either recorder to provide extra data
acquisition channels up to 128 channels. Thius unit can
measure signals up to a bandwidth of 80KHz. The expansion
units provide input connections and analogue output connections
allowing the data to be monitored “Read after write”
or during replay. The units offer a wide input voltage
range and coupled with the IEPE transducer power supply
system can be used to directly drive ICP transducers such
as accelerometers or microphones. Single ended or differential
options can also be selected depending on the application.
Mechanically the SIR-3032i can be “fixed”
to the recorder using a set of combining frames. Up to
2 expansion units can be fitted using the supplied interface
adaptors, for the third and fourth units a SIF-3004 multi
interface card is required. This unit is detailed in the
